I purchased a NeoCube as soon as I saw this video…which was before it got picked up by Gizmodo and everyone else. It’s a cool toy…216 spherical magnets. I’ve been playing with it all night, and I have to say it’s frustrating as HELL. For the life of me I can’t seem to get the spheres to form a cube. I think their polarity makes it so that they must be aligned PERFECTLY to achieve this effect. I sometimes get close, but the mass of spheres instantly realigns itself into a twisted mess all the time. Still, it’s a fun to just fidget with…
