Evan Williams, co-founder and CEO of Twitter (@ev), gave a presentation at TED 2009 discussing many of the ideas that drove the huge growth of Twitter in 2008, and how they came from unexpected uses invented by the users themselves.  At about 4 minutes 53 seconds in, he talks about my Kickbee project!  I am humbled.

I love adapting programmers’ tools for my writing. They tend to be extremely well-made and stable (because if they aren’t, programmers will fix them or find better ones) — it’s like using chefs’ knives in the kitchen.
